Lake Barcis

Mark, Abbie and I went to Lake Barcis the first month we were here, but I didn’t take my camera that time.  However, this time I did and it was just as beautiful as the last time we went.  The Alps are by far my favorite mountain range that I’ve ever been to and this little lake is nestled in between them.  The mountain water is just gorgeous – the same color you see at the Gorgazzo Spring.  Mark, Abbie, Ryan and I had a good time walking along the lake.

You can see the little town of Barcis on the right side of this picture.

The last time we were here, our GPS kept telling us to go across this suspension bridge, but we didn’t see any cars on it so we didn’t try to go across it.  However, this time we saw LOTS of cars going across this, including this Carbinieri (type of Italian police).  There is very little wiggle room for a car to go across and we had a car following us across it the first time we walked on it.
