Impotent and Constipated

Charlie was 43 years old.  He was goofing off wrestling around when suddenly the pain struck.  Neck pain was radiating down his right arm.  Low back pain was radiating down his right leg.  He decided to get it checked out.  He had no idea how much his life was about to change in the next few moments.

Neck and back x-rays demonstrated misaligned vertebrae.  The diagnosis was multiple vertebral subluxations (VSC) of C5/C6, L3/L4, and L5/S1.  Within a few minutes, Charlie recieved his first spinal adjustment.  There was a particularly loud adjustment that took place in Charlie's low back.  You could see him relax; he knew something good just happened.

Charlie returned a couple days later for a required follow up visit.  He was very happy.  He felt much better.  The pain was almost completely gone; but I could tell there was something else.  He had so little pain, he was tempted to skip his appointment.  Charlie had to talk to me though.  "Something you did doc" he uttered.  Then he said, "I can have sex again!".  I replied, "Praise God!, how long have you had this problem?"  Charlie replied, "10 years!".  Then he said, "there's more, I no longer have constipation".  "How long have you had that problem", I asked.  "10 years", he said.  Wow, you mean a spinal adjustment can help someone who is suffering from impotency and constipation?

Charlie had a spinal problem for many years prior to ever having pain.  As a result, the nerves that went to the lower intestines and reproductive organs were not working at 100% for at least 10 years.  Many with similar symptoms might cope with their problem by using stimulants for one problem and laxitives for the other.  Treating the symptoms in this way only prolongs the problem and makes it more difficult to correct.

Fixing the problem involves getting to the cause - not just treating the symptoms.  The vertebral subluxation complex involves the functional mobility and alignment of the vertebrae.  It causes less than normal function in the involved nerves and the tissues they innervate.  Left uncorrected, spinal degeneration (arthritis) takes place and the nerves work less and less.  When corrected, however, life is restored.  Vertebral subluxations must be corrected.

Charlie's case is not rare.  A recent patient had constipation problems that started a few years earlier when he wiped out surfing.  His vertebral subluxations were detected and adjusted.  This patient also noticed immediate (1 visit) success.

Another patient came in for back pain that started when doing construction.  He returned the next day for a follow up visit to ask if it is possible that the adjustment I gave him could have corrected a constipation problem he had.

Another patient was unable to perform sexually since being in an auto accident.  Two weeks of adjustments and he was back in business.

The best time to get checked for VSC is now.  There is no reason to wait till symptoms appear.  The longer you wait, the more difficult it gets to correct.

Chiropractors have been detecting and correcting vertebral subluxations for over 100 years.  If you know someone that is sick and needs the power turned on, tell them about chiropractic.
