I'm going to do Nigella's.

150g red finger chillis deseeded & cut into 4 pieces.
150g red pepper roughly chopped.
1kg  jam sugar.
600mls cider vinegar.

6 x 250 ml vinegar proof lidded jars.
Chop the chillis in the food processor on pulse until finely chopped. Add the peppers & pulse again until you have a finely flecked bowl. Dissolve the sugar in the vinegar slowly, without stirring. Scrape the chillis from bowl & add to the pan. Bring back to the boil, leave at a rollicking boil for 10 mins. Take off the heat & allow to cool. It will become jelly like as it cools. After about 40 mins or once the flecks are more or less evenly distributed in the jelly ladle it into jars. Seal tightly.
Nigella says use within one month. S.I.L made it last Christmas & I've just finished it. Lovely it was to.

I must learn how to do links.

grannyJanny - well as you know how to copy and paste the links are a small step away  :D
If you are on Nigella's site, on the page with the recipe click on the address of the website and page which is at the top of your screen in the web browser. The bit that says http://www...... and right click and select copy. then go to the thread where you want to add a link and right click and select paste and bobs your relation  ;D

You could also try Jamie Oliver's pickled chillis:

PICKLED CHILLIES

Pickled chillies are absolutely superb.  They are brilliant because they can just sit in the fridge waiting to be used.   I particularly like to use them in stir-frying or in broths or to eat them just as they are with some cheese and bread.

600g/1lb 5oz medium green chillies
15 black peppercorns
5 bay leaves
3 tablespoons coriander seeds
5 teaspoons salt
6 heaped tablespoons caster sugar
1 litre/1¾ pints white wine vinegar or rice vinegar

For this recipe you must use perfect green chillies without any blemishes (you can use red chillies, but they will be slightly hotter).

Carefully score from the stalk end to the tip on one side only and remove the seeds (use the handle of a teaspoon for this).  Pour boiling water over the chillies, let them sit for 5 minutes, then drain.  This will get rid of most of the seeds left behind.

Next put the black peppercorns, bay leaves, coriander, chillies and salt into a large jar, or other airtight container.  Put the sugar and the vinegar into a pan and heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.  When this is quite hot, but not boiling, pour it into the jar with the chillies.  Allow I to cool down and then put the lid on.

Put in the fridge and leave for a minimum of two weeks before using.  They will keep in the fridge for at least four months.

Wear gloves when you are deseeding the chillies, otherwise your fingers will be tingling for hours. ;D

Made chilli jam yesterday from the recipe from grannyjanny. The recipe said 150grms of chilli's well my chilli's are very hot so i used 15 red chilli's from the green house. It worked very well and tastes great its got a kick but does not set your taste buds on fire.

I think the ones in the recipe are the supermarket large long red chilli's which are not so hot as the cayanne chilli.
