Brevetted Lt-Colonel for action at Beaver Creek, KS; Oct 18th, while escorting Carr of the 5th Cavalry
Involved in capture and escort of Satank, Santana and Big Tree at Fort Sill, I.T., May 1871
Involved in fight at Anadarko Reservation, Wichita, I.T., August 1874
Heavily involved in the Victorio Campaign 1879-80
Transferred to the 5th Cavalry as promotion March 1883
Retired a Brigadier General Oct,1899


Retirement
As of April 22nd of 1912 he was residing in Philadelphia
