It all began when…

A love of Brazil, its people, lifestyle, culture, and cuisine inspired the owners of Agora to bring Churrascaria-style cooking to Southern California. In May of 2005, after years of running restaurants in São Paulo, Brazil, Agora’s owners opened the doors of this Churrascaria in Irvine.

Authenticity is at the heart of Agora, as well as a great desire to enfold guests in an atmosphere of warmth, freshness, plenty, and outstanding quality, all delivered with consistency and exceptional service. The experience of the rich Churrasco dining tradition begins with an ambience of rustic sophistication. River rock-lined walls, a 25-foot peaked cathedral ceiling supported by massive cedar beams, earthy neutral colors, muted sunlight, skylights, an Italian slate floor, cozy tables with white linen tablecloths, eclectic music, and servers dressed simply in black all signal to delighted guests to let the feasting begin.
