Thoughts on Prof Wangari Maathai

I have heard news on the passing away of sister and dear friend Prof. Wangari with great shock and sadness. Lets remain behind comforted by the enduring legacy of Africas outstanding daughter. The first African woman to win the Nobel peace prize for her work on the environment. A true honest democrat. A politician of integrity who never feared to stand on the right side of things knowing she could loose. May she find God’s mercy and her family the strength to accept what has happened and move on.
