tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38676612024-03-14T08:02:41.634+01:00Ahi-NamaHere I will share my musical travelling from Port of Spain, via Guadeloupe, Habana and Cali to the End of the World in Trosa, Sweden. I am musically oriented to latin music, salsa, timba, calypso, cumbia, samba, vallenato, but also any other rhythmical music from other parts of the world. In Egypt for instance, I discovered Mohamad Mounir, in Estonia the group Jäääär, and in every country I visit, I find some new sounds.Folkehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16847959900531272674noreply@blogger.comBlogger91125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3867661.post-40757261203814536642023-11-23T11:00:00.000+01:002023-11-23T11:00:26.165+01:00<p> https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/86/Czone_chorover_et_al_catalina_jemez_czo.png/440px-Czone_ch</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img alt="" border="0" class="placeholder" height="240" id="d7b0e3308407d" src="https://www.blogger.com/img/transparent.gif" style="background-color: #d8d8d8; background-image: url('https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/i/materialiconsextended/insert_photo/v6/grey600-24dp/1x/baseline_insert_photo_grey600_24dp.png'); background-position: 50% 50%; background-repeat: no-repeat; opacity: 0.6;" width="320" /></div><br />orover_et_al_catalina_jemez_czo.png<p></p><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEipubqjAIWVmEghyUQom_izVxJVcyXQXH00uur-nx_9j_uYAq8wkRaQ92pPTmMf5HYl_Bo9co0BCwYXJX5pxRVtkKJ9NVJTVDKfqMNsU9L-5aNuAoQeamsPJjLSCgHaQwt5Z5L8d57LnN0amm_-hdcM3pOg1_yp9yxLoRA-_Pyh-wLLdkA87nmc" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="927" data-original-width="800" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEipubqjAIWVmEghyUQom_izVxJVcyXQXH00uur-nx_9j_uYAq8wkRaQ92pPTmMf5HYl_Bo9co0BCwYXJX5pxRVtkKJ9NVJTVDKfqMNsU9L-5aNuAoQeamsPJjLSCgHaQwt5Z5L8d57LnN0amm_-hdcM3pOg1_yp9yxLoRA-_Pyh-wLLdkA87nmc" width="207" /></a></div><br /><br /></div>Folkehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16847959900531272674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3867661.post-46962421579778820072022-04-08T10:38:00.002+02:002022-04-14T20:43:21.855+02:00<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS9V0_wktRDedGjmn8Fzw0_H6ZiEg83XIxpJsquPKutRSikdJSIUQX-aYcYx5vvua9oNCRAtS8f72Zzpu6HIZeQY2lRLtXKk6UCBBsGN4cZifPFzfyaaqcqgDpfM0QZc7u7iirJ5CyQsJ6T25kAKoQ9clFif9e6KwcTUAN2mkkS0PWaBnxsA/s220/sveriges%20globala%20klimatavtryck.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="220" data-original-width="150" height="220" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS9V0_wktRDedGjmn8Fzw0_H6ZiEg83XIxpJsquPKutRSikdJSIUQX-aYcYx5vvua9oNCRAtS8f72Zzpu6HIZeQY2lRLtXKk6UCBBsGN4cZifPFzfyaaqcqgDpfM0QZc7u7iirJ5CyQsJ6T25kAKoQ9clFif9e6KwcTUAN2mkkS0PWaBnxsA/s1600/sveriges%20globala%20klimatavtryck.jpg" width="150" /></a></div><br /><br /><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdu_0SqMFohKp3NEGe2ytCi3ShYeyUXyMojwq7gtORe_xmRoDz1_lrOxh_0V4zrqfw92Yi6_Jvwv7PPHYQLOHpneLsrccUAuWQtCmCqWCZRluVzQf9wteSdv0Ymqg2Fqu828IT9fEw0fh7YEbnBBxAhVv_vcy8TmzitDpHzGPGPreh8ADDkQ/s208/bocc2022.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="208" data-original-width="161" height="208" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdu_0SqMFohKp3NEGe2ytCi3ShYeyUXyMojwq7gtORe_xmRoDz1_lrOxh_0V4zrqfw92Yi6_Jvwv7PPHYQLOHpneLsrccUAuWQtCmCqWCZRluVzQf9wteSdv0Ymqg2Fqu828IT9fEw0fh7YEbnBBxAhVv_vcy8TmzitDpHzGPGPreh8ADDkQ/s1600/bocc2022.jpg" width="161" /></a></div><br />Folkehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16847959900531272674noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3867661.post-77451837385207036692022-04-13T09:35:00.000+02:002022-04-13T09:35:40.654+02:00<?xml version="1.0"?>

She offers the key principles of how a world based on real values might operate. For me this is similar to the thinking of the MetaCurrency project which I wrote about on Monday 14 March. This is appropriate because the currency landscape that is coming into view from over the horizon is indeed completely new. Yet, a big part of pioneering is not just about discovering the new, but also about discovering that the familiar itself is also ready to be re-seen. After a long break I know how travelled eastward, to Tallinn in the Baltic state Estronia. An Saturday evening at the music pub Kolumbus Krisostomus, Viru street 24, gave a new acquaintance called <a href="http://www.jaaaar.ee/">JÄÄÄÄR</a>. Could you imagine a language allowing four letters "a" with the diacritic consisting of "two dots" in one band name. Now it is in fact two words JÄÄ-ÄÄR, which means "edge of the ice", but still!! Any how, the two band members, Jaan Sööt and Andrus <i>InBoil</i> Rootsmäe on guitar and base guitar, appeared to be skilled, versatile, humorous, and musical. The combination of a strange language, Estonian and rytmic music attracted me a lot. There are three recordings on CD: Jää-äär: Parimad (1996), Tartu - väile puust linn (1998) and JääBoiler niiongi(2001). The later with a larger group. You may have to go to Tallinn to get the records, but if you like there music, it will be worth it: <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0Zxcp0Mot8&feature=related">Listen yourselves!!</a>. A real proof of there popularity among the Estonian audiance was the "community singing" trigged by the band. The texts in Estonian of 65 of their songs are published on the web: <a href="http://www.lap.ttu.ee/%7Emuhw/lyrics.php?action=artist&artist=32636">Lyrics</a>.</div>

Ahi-Nama is Cuban slang for "This is it...look no further". Probably originally from spanish "aqui nada mas".
The Urban Dictionary is defining "ahi nama:
<a href="http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ahi-nama">ahi-nama</a>
is cuban slang meaning "here it is/ this is it" - with the suggestion
of having reached the best or ultimate, therefore you do not need to
look anywhere else. </div>
