The Football League have published the fixtures for the 2011/12 season.
Here are the key dates for AFC Bournemouth.
The season kicks off on August 6th with a trip to Charlton Athletic - a repeat of last season's opener. The home campaign is kicked off a week later with the visit of Sheffield Wednesday to Dean Court.
Not too many 'local' derbies this season with numberous divisional changes last season, but trips to London are usually good, with Leyton Orient (Sept 13) and Brentford (Dec 26) to look forward to.
A trip to St James's Park has proved popular in past seasons, with the Cherries making the trip to Devon on Sept 17th.
Last season the trip to Yeovil Town was made on a roasting hot Easter Saturday ...... can't see it being anywhere near as warm on New Years Eve!
Easter will see the Cherries head off to Brammal Lane to face Sheffield United (April 7), with Easter Monday at home against Huddersfield Town.
The end of season has proved key for the Cherries in the past few seasons. So will be a promotion, or relegation, battle against Scunthorpe United (a) on April 28 and Preston North End (h) on May 5?
