It is said that the Aaliyah movie is going to be in the year of 2011. I know that it takes a while to make movies. As long as the movie is being made, I don't care when it comes out. They ought to be doing a very good job on making it as long as it is taking. They picked the perfect girl for the role, Keshia Chante, who is learning Aaliyah's dance moves and more. Hopefully the movie will soon be on the way. I know movie theaters will be packed.
I don't know if you heard or not, but Rashad Haughton, Aaliyah's brother, announced on Twitter that this movie wasn't happening and Keshia Chanté announced in an uploaded video that the movie isn't happening either, at least not with her in it, because the Haughton family doesn't want to move forward with it. I was disappointed when I heard, but hey, it happens.
