                  New York Attorneys 212-571-2266

Peter M. Agulnick, an experienced New York litigation lawyer, will gladly give you a free consultation by telephone, involving one of our practice areas. You must, however, mention that you found our law firm through our website.

Please call us at tel. 212-571-2266 and tell our receptionist about the website offer of a free telephone consultation with a lawyer.  She will promptly arrange for you to speak with an attorney — often immediately.

You may also email our office (info@AgulnickLaw.com) if you prefer.  Include your full name and put the word "consultation" in the subject to ensure your email is not misconstrued a spam.  Note that we try to have an attorney respond to each email received. However, if your email appears to be spam or is caught in our spam filter, you may not receive a response, in which case you can call our law office.

An initial telephone consultation with a lawyer is always free with no obligations.  We look forward to hearing from you.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT A FREE CONSULTATION WITH A NEW YORK ATTORNEY: Consultation with a lawyer from this law firm (by email, telephone, or otherwise) does not mean that this law firm is acting as your attorney or has agreed to advise you or represent you in any capacity.  Consultation is solely so both you and this law firm can determine if your case is appropriate for this law firm to handle.  We do NOT dispense legal advice during any consultation by telephone.

The consultation is without cost by telephone only, and this law firm is under no obligation to review documents.  Moreover, if you request an in-office meeting, a charge may apply, which will be discussed and agreed to in writing before the in-office meeting.  Keep in mind, though, we never charge for an in-office meeting with prospective clients for cases involving New York City police false arrest or personal injury if this law firm believes you have a case that this law firm can possibly handle.

After your consultation, both you and our law firm must mutually agree to have the law firm of Peter M. Agulnick, P.C. represent you by signing a written contract.  This written contract, also known as a "retainer agreement," is signed by you and an attorney from our law firm. The retainer agreement clearly explains the cost of representation and the scope of legal work that a lawyer at this law firm will perform for you.

Without a signed retainer agreement, our law firm does not represent you.  Keep in mind that some legal matters and claims have specific time limits in which they must be brought.  Claims and legal rights can be jeopardized if certain actions are not taken within specific time periods.  Accordingly, please do not have the mistaken belief that your matter is being handled by this law firm unless, after this law firm agrees to represent you, you obtain a written retainer agreement SIGNED by both you AND a representative of this law firm.
