Poole Clinic
With effect from January 20222, following a 20-year-long collaboration, our Poole clinic is sadly closing. Due to post-pandemic factors, the consulting room we enjoyed at this busy Doctors Surgery, is now needed for other essential NHS services. We thank the partners, staff and indeed patients of Canford Heath Group Practice for the long and beneficial association and wish them all the very best for the future.
E-therapy
Due to popular demand, we are increasing the levels of our online services via Skype, Whatsapp and telephone.
We live in a fast-moving world where the pace of life keeps increasing at an alarming rate. Time has become as precious a commodity as money, perhaps even more so.
Online and telephone consultations avoid the necessity to travel for therapy, saving both time and money.
Some people are curious as to whether online and telephone therapy is as effective as face-to-face consultations, our senior consultant and resident hypnotist Mr Roberts replies “Hypnosis is induced using voice and language patterns and therefore works in the same way and just as effectively via telephone and Whatsapp as it does face to face”
Worldwide clinical trials have also examined the effectiveness of counselling and CBT delivery via remote means and the results have proven very positive.
