As the EU escalating debt crisis continued to send jitters across the globe last weekend, there were concerns that Nigeria, like other sub-Saharan African countries may get caught by the economic contagion afflicting Europe.
Concerned stakeholders said rather than see the Euro crisis as a distant problem, time had come for policy makers in Nigeria to urgently come to terms with the reality by coming up with appropriate firewalls against the impending negative consequences of the Euro crisis.
