The Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak (RCBS), D3420 Indonesia warmly welcomes you to “The Island of the Gods” – our 22^nd  year.

Our Club was chartered on 14 May 2002 and is the major Club in the Kuta area that uses English as its official language during all of its functions. Most of the Rotarians in our Club are expatriates, representing twelve nationalities.  Many are employed in the tourism sector, but there are also members representing cargo, design, education, export, finance, garments, art,  jewelry, medicine, and real estate.

During the past twenty-two years, our members have been very active in a wide range of Projects here in Bali and around Indonesia, e.g. Cleft & Craniofacial Operations, Food Distribution, Student Scholarships, Elementary School Classroom Libraries, Environmental Awareness, School Toilets, Waste Management, Access to Clean Water, Maternal Health Care, Medical Assistance/ Disease Prevention and Disaster Relief. I have lived in Bali for 20 years and  have been involved in other charitable organizations, especially in collaboration with the French community. However, it is through the Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak that the greatest  impact has been achieved in communities lacking basic needs.  Many of our projects have been implemented in  local areas that tourists do not venture, but are addressed to the less fortunate with club projects, Global Grants and District Grants.  I have also been President of the Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak for the term of 2016-2017.  It is my honor to serve again. Our club also has a special camaraderie of like-minded friends, which contributes to its success as we work together.  My goal for 2023-24 is to carry the vison of this term’s theme, “Create Hope in the World”  .

Visitors are very welcome to join our luncheon meeting or evening fellowship dinner meetings. We meet twice a month on Wednesdays from 12:30 to 14:00 (Fellowship 12:00) at The Trans Resort Bali. Please contact our Club Secretary, PAG PP Anita Lococo, for specific meeting dates.

The goodwill of the Rotary Club of Bali Seminyak and its Board of Directors extends a warm welcome to new members interested to partake in the spirit of our motto “Service Above Self” and carry on the 111 years of Rotary Worldwide with 1.4 million members.
