A-1 The Clear Choice

I hire A-1 annually to clean windows and doors and clear gutters.
As a Realtor I recommend them to clients, neighbors and friends.
The value for their quality of work is extraordinary.

Have used this company for about 15 years and they have always done a great job. Have recommended them to many friends over the years! Good value and great job.

SUPER quick response to my request for an estimate. CLEAR communication regarding our appointment. The window washer was on time, he worked hard and got the job done. Making the appt was super easy. I will call them again.

I never write these reviews, but Felipe did such a fantastic job washing our home windows that I wanted to share. He was punctual, thorough, and so nice. My windows are gleaming! I'll definitely use him again.

TL;DR: Missed appointments, double invoices, communication issues, endless waste of time. The technicians who did the job were good though.

Allow me to share what I expected from this gutter/window cleaning service:
* I provide the job description, they provide a quote
* We agree on a date and time
* They arrive within the agreed upon window and do the job
* The office sends me a description of what has been done (maybe even pictures) and the invoice

What happened in reality:
* I asked for gutter and skylight cleaning, and they were supposed to do it for $180
* The folks arrived half an hour outside the agreed upon window
* I wasn't at home anymore, but called up the office to ask that they make sure to seal the apparent leak in the gutter
* I haven't gotten a confirmation of what had been cleaned
* When I returned home, the skylights looked dirty, and when it rained, the gutter seemed to leak again
* I recorded videos of these issues and sent them to the office, they said their guys would return
* Meanwhile, they already billed me for $200 (why not $180? nobody knows)
* On the day of the follow-up, nobody showed up
* But later they sent me another, separate invoice for $160, that I called out and they said was by mistake
* Their guys came back another day and clarified that the gutter is not leaking, it just looks this way when it overflows. And they had already cleaned the skylights, so whatever is dirty is on the inside. Which I can totally believe - if only their office sent a summary of what they'd done on the first visit, they wouldn't have to come back!
* Recently I got a reminder that the $160 invoice they said was by mistake is past due, and I had to go through yet another email chain to figure this out. A representative named Ali stubbornly continued claiming that I need to pay for a follow-up visit that never even happened.

So I don't know folks, I already spent hours exchanging emails and waiting on follow up visits, this choice is not so Clear to me.

I've hired A-1 multiple years because they are reliable, efficient, honest, friendly and affordable. Each of the service providers has done a great job.

The tech went above and beyond when clearing our storm drains. He identified a piece of downspout that was missing and causing potential issues for a neighbor. After we discussed it he was able to go to the hardware store, buy the replacement piece, and install it the same day!

Highly recommend this small company.

I just loved the service I received from A-1 The Clear Choice. They fully cleaned my gutters which were full of crap. They told what items were in my gutter and the Alisio said it with a big smile. I will use them for my window cleaning come spring and gutter cleaning come fall.

Good priced, they get back to you quickly, they update you if person running late and they do a great job.

I have worked with A-1 for the last 3 years. This year 2 of the units had a few streaks on the windows after they got cleaned the first time A- Clear Choice came out to our property. I ask A-1 to come back to take care of the 3 windows that needed to be re-cleaned. They came and did the work with grace and kindness. I highly recommend A-1.

This is the second time I've used A-1 and I could not be more pleased with their window washing. Our windows look so beautiful and clean and the workers did an incredibly thorough job. Cleaned the window tracks and popped out the screens to clean and dusted them as well! The guys even removed the cobwebs around our front door. Wish I had before and after pictures to show the improvement! The price also cannot be beat! My work-from-home quality of life is much improved!
