Welcome to Genesis Club, a community of hope and dignity where mental health recovery is possible.

Based in Worcester, Massachusetts, Genesis Club is a community center known as a Clubhouse. Here, members are part of a community where they can participate in running the clubhouse while rebuilding a sense of purpose and belonging. Members are supported to return to work, find stable housing, return to school, and build healthy social connections. Here, people are recognized for their strengths and contributions, not defined by their diagnosis. A Clubhouse is an evidence-based mental health recovery model recognized by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

After high school I was feeling lonely and depressed, but then I found Genesis Club. As soon as I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed and part of a family. I really felt like I was wanted. I felt like I was where I needed to be. That was six years ago!
