Who We Are
Sister Cities of Wilmington’s mission is to promote peaceful relations between the people of Wilmington and our sister cities through educational, cultural, artistic, and other appropriate exchanges. Wilmington has 5 official sister cities: Kalmar, Sweden; Fulda, Germany; Osogbo, Nigeria; Olevano sul Tusciano, Italy; and Nemours, France.

We support visual art exchanges with Osogbo, Nigeria, and supported the visual works of SYNE at all our sister cities.
Performance Art Exchanges
We Like to Teach the World to Sing
We support musician exchanges from Fulda, Germany, and Olevano sul Tusciano, Italy, hip-hop artists from Kalmar, Sweden, and singers and musicians from Wilmington, Delaware, to our sister cities.
Cultural Exchanges
New Things Inspire Us to be Greater
We exchange chefs and chocolatiers with Nemours, France, potters from Olevano sul Tusiano, and royalty from Osogbo, Nigeria.
