Attorneys and doctors have teamed up in Philadelphia to improve health care for low-income families and their children through PhilaKids medical-legal partnership (MLP) between St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital and the Legal Clinic for the Disabled (LCD).
The first pediatric medical-legal partnership in Philadelphia, PhilaKids MLP provides on-site legal services at St. Christopher’s for patients who may not understand the legal system and often have conditions at home that, if left unaddressed, could seriously influence their health long-term.
