MUSIC BILLBOARD TOP 100 1956-2000

WELCOME !!!!!

"Hay", my name is Thomas Muniak Sr.  I live near Geneva Ohio I lovingly call Hooterville. This is why I greet people with "hay". It is a great area, but my move from the city, Cleveland, to the country took some getting use to. Especially the utilities, or lack of them. I designed and built my own log home. It was an experience that I will NEVER forget. But I often try.

METT stands for the members of my family Millie (Milagro), Erica, Thomas Jr. and me Thomas Sr. It was the first to many domains I bought.

I'm a retired cop, from a college, (YES a real police office state certified just like city cops, but actually more jurisdiction). With my retirement came a massive life change. And I'm still adjusting to changes. Looking for a hobby I started to collect sports cards and spent way to much from 1998-2002. That got me on ebay, and I met some great guys and gals on the "Trading Card Board" of ebay. I now have well over 500,000 cards.

Then somehow I started to get back into my animals, as I worked at an exotic pet shop as a kid 1992-1980. Life is strange. I worked there for about 6 years until my back issues just made it impossible. It got me out of the house, and I'll really miss that, plus my great customers. I do try to get in once in a while but not like I use to. They (Parma Pets) specialize in reptiles, but do a few other things. And over the last few years I have collected a few birds, most as rescues.  And chat in a few herp forums as HerpZillA.

At this time, I have just 1 bird now. The one sitting on my chest. Her name is April as I got her in April. The lady that managed the bird pet shop in Mentor Ohio bought her from some idiot that abused her, and was going to release her. So she gave him $100. I use to go in to see the Hyacinth macaw, and to talk birds with her. She said, she got in this parrot, it will never be handleable,  but needed a good home. I asked if she sits on a perch. She said of course. Not knowing the double yellow headed Amazon you see below was NOT able to handle at all. Not even on a perch. She would just attack your hand or face. But she would take the tiniest seed from your hand lol. It took a long time to find her a home when my health started to go south. April was on my chest regurgitating food after 2 days lol.

I use to have a bunch of reptiles, and many parrots. I think 5 macaws, 11 Amazons, and several small birds. I kept April as she is special needs. And I kept one of the nandays. She passed a couple years ago at the age of about 25 years.  We now have 2 dog  and  2 great kids, and the best wife in the world, just one.) My reptile collection is empty at this time.  I had bought out good friend Bob Applegates Arizona mtn kingsnakes, specials and het for specials. Again my health diminished shipped then to a new friend John Lassiter and eventually sold them all to him. Thank you John for all your help.

It's now January 2024, and the last 5 years I had a major double lung infection, then got covid 2 days before I got the shot. And had a severe reaction to the shot as well. Then the RSV virus. Being in bed so long, and still dealing with a major back issue, my legs have atrophied very bad. Hoping this year, I can rehab them to get some strength back. So I'm looking to get well enough to get a few critters here for my 2 grand babies. Oh yea, I'm a grandpa. Inspiration to try to get as strong as possible. At least be able to walk short distances safely.
