So I’m back after a bit of time out. Having been a loyal Radio One fan for years, I was disappointed to see Zane Lowe leave but was more than happy listening to Annie Mac as she’s always been a good ambassador for new music. I decided to take the plunge and and listen to Beats 1 @beats1chart well over year since Zane moved, I was very impressed and Zane is as great as ever. Give it a go if you’ve not done so already, you just might like it! :) #newmusic @zaneloweshow #radio
Cornwall - Mawgan Porth, a set on Flickr.
Some photos from an amazing trip to Cornwall, not bad weather for March! Stayed at The Scarlet Hotel, which was just fantastic with a spa and hot tubs overlooking the beach, begin able to relax with a glass of Champagne and these amazing views.Long walk to the Cornish Arms where Rick Stein was hosting a Beer and Mussel Festival…. what more could you want??

This piece of space-aged gadgetry is a biolite stove, I bought it for a festival where gas was a no no and it worked so well. It burns wood, makes a camping brew and charges your phone. You can also get a grill attachment for a cheeky BBQ which works wonders. What more do you want??? A bit pricey but highly recommended.
I love cooking; never thought I’d be compelled to blog about seasoning… This sea salt and luxury pepper from the Cornish Sea Salt Co. is amazing and really tasty. Had it in my sandwich, on salad, on top of fish, and, most recently, with my boiled egg for breakfast. Not for replacing everyday pepper unless you’re super rich. :)
Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant: had a a really pleasant dinner here last night. Food was excellent, I had Steamed Mussels with Yellow Kroeung, Coconut Milk and Kaffir Lime Leaves; followed by Madras Fish Curry of Stone Bass, Tomato and Tamarind. The setting was well thought out, although they have tried to fit a lot of tables in for the space, it’s quite relaxed, unpretentious, and the staff are friendly. Thumbs up from me!

Corfe Castle Noir on Flickr.
Leaving my Compact Flash card at home is more than annoying and that’s just what happened on a trip to Corfe Castle, Dorset. So I thought I’d have a go with my iPhone 5S to see what I could come up with. I’m quite pleased with the results. I used the Noir instant editing effect on the iPhone which give some great detail and contrast.
