Through advocacy and legislative work, the civic leaders of the Junior Leagues of New Jersey State Public Affairs Committee work to build stronger support systems for women and children in New Jersey, particularly in under-served communities
The Junior Leagues of New Jersey State Public Affairs Committee (NJ SPAC) is a statewide, non-partisan committee comprised of delegates from each of the eight Junior Leagues in New Jersey. It advocates for initiatives and legislation that strengthen the quality of life for women and girls in New Jersey. In addition to NJ SPAC's advocacy work, it provides training and education on key issues and how to advocate to League members and the public. The Junior League is an international organization of women civic leaders committed to promoting volunteerism and to improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. In addition to representing the women of the Junior League of New Jersey, NJ SPAC delegates partner with many other organizations to further their reach. |
