Welcome to GoldiDox Grove!  I'm Karen Ann and I'm a bone-a-fide dogaholic!  I'm totally addicted, obsessed and head-over-heels in love with my family of assorted hounds.

I became obsessed with Dachshunds at an early age.  At age 11 I was diagnosed with Diabetes and in the hospital I was given a little booklet to help me learn about living with the disease... it was titled "Dolly the Diabetic Dachshund".  I fell in love with the breed then and knew that one day I'd be owned by one of my own.  I brought home my first Dachshund in 1989, a tiny little smooth red girl named Sassie.  She was a darling and set me on the breed hook, line & sinker.  Since that time a number of these long low hounds have come and gone and I can't imagine my life without at least a few of them in it.  I've always found Dachshunds to be a wonderfully spirited, devoted and loving breed.  They have such personality and charm, and all of mine thus far have been little clowns in dog suits.

I'm sight impaired and have been partnered with several guide dogs through the years. I've had three Labs, two Goldens, a German Shepherd Dog and a Lab/Golden cross.  If you decide to peruse the site you'll get a glimpse at each of these amazing dogs, along with all my Dachshunds.

Thank you for taking the time to visit GoldiDox Grove and I hope you'll enjoy your visit!
