Our 80th Birthday Reunion was cancelled!
As the saying goes, "The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry." Well, we had the best-laid plans in place for our 80th birthday celebration in September 2020, but things went really gone "awry." Little did we know we would be in the middle of a pandemic when planning began!
However, this website will last for years! And we invite you to keep adding your "life stories" or special events and some photos so we can provide a " virtual reunion" for as long as you can! While it won't be the same as being together, it does offer a way to stay in touch. Who knows? Maybe we can plan a ZOOM reunion in the future! Please send your updates to dwebb93@aol.com.
Over the years, many of you have kindly supported the Rangers Foundation, which assists in providing opportunities and supporting programs for current students through scholarships, academic clubs, athletics, and the arts. We all know how special LHS is and continues to be and have the opportunity to give back so others may benefit as we did. We hope you will continue to support students with a tax-deductible donation payable to Lakewood Rangers Education Foundation and send it to the Rangers Foundation c/o Terri Richards, Executive Director, 14100 Franklin Blvd., Lakewood, OH 44107.
Finally, we have always known our class is very special. The Reunion Committee wants to thank you for your ideas, support, and attendance at our reunions over the years. You have made our reunions such fun as we have renewed friendships and have made new ones along the way. We hope you have enjoyed our times together as much as we have!
