Who we are
First established in 1998, as neighbors sought to set parameters for the emergence of a national chain store within the shopping district, RNA seeks to provide the means for the people of the Ravinia village and neighborhood to come together to interact amongst themselves and with governmental, cultural, and business institutions such that our neighborhood be kept a vibrant and beautiful community within the cherished and naturally rich setting we've inherited.
Mission statement
Ravinia Neighbors Association, is a non-profit organization, devoted to preserving the unique character of the special Midwestern treasure we call Ravinia. We intend to interact with neighborhood residents, private institutions and businesses, service providers, and governmental, cultural, civic, and religious organizations, both within Ravinia, and its immediate borders, and when necessary, within the city of Highland Park as a whole, to maintain and improve our neighborhood.
Membership
The Ravinia Neighbors Association is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization devoted to enhancing, beautifying and celebrating our neighborhood in keeping with its historic character. We promote civic pride and build neighborly connections. We serve as a voice for the neighborhood and our membership.
