The Georgia Metros

Since 1984 The Georgia Metros have used sports, specifically, girls’ basketball, with a singular goal in mind: Help prepare you for the challenges of life that exists after high school ends. In helping to prepare you for those challenges, a basketball scholarship is often the reward of your hard work. While you are busy learning x’s and o’s from us. We will sprinkle in additional concepts like problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, and nutrition and wellness.

When you understand the importance of running through the line and not stopping short of the line. That concept and mentality will help you in more than just basketball. Our goal is to help you understand the importance of running through the line and not stopping short of the line.

Speaking of lines: Inclusiveness is our bottom line. Our level of attention and detail to what matters to our organization and our singular goal will not change.

Maya Moore is the first female athlete to sign with Jordan. The Georgia Metros are exclusively with the Jordan Brand. We are blessed with the opportunity.

We are willing to sit and have difficult conversations that need to be had, and soon, they will become common and the norm. We are for you. What is success to you? What does it look like? How can we help you achieve it?

We look forward to those discussion

Georgia Metros Calendar

“One of my favorite memories that I gained from the Metros are the times where we made loud noises, music, hand claps, and anything that gave us more energy before the game. Unconsciously it taught us that no matter the circumstances, being a family and giving each other encouragement and energy was necessary for the success of a team.”  – Queen Alford, c/o 2012
