About Our Family And Calling

Kendra and I were married in 2001. We have three daughters, Abigail, 20; Hayley, 18; and Sophia, our 11-year-old. We are all musical; my wife sings, plays piano and works in the public high school, and is currently working on her master’s. Abi, our violinist, is a graduate of Liberty University and is currently working on her master’s, Hayley plays cello and sings and is currently dual enrolled with Liberty University, and Sophia can be heard singing at the top of her lungs in worship services. I play guitar and am proficient in brass instruments and choirs.

For over twenty years, I have served in full-time ministry as a worship pastor, youth pastor, and Sr. Pastor.

In 2018 God stirred our hearts, challenging our comfort zone, and we began praying for His direction in our life. Step by step, He introduced us to church planting in the city of Las Vegas.  God clearly called us to the Las Vegas area, but with the on-slot of Covid, our small church plant began to falter. Without question, we were certain God brought us to the Las Vegas area, so we opened our hearts to God’s deeper purpose in the transition where God introduced us to Faith Christian Church and the ministry of revitalization.

Pastoring a church in need of revitalization is much like church planting but with a core group of people already vested who desire to see God breathe new life into their church. Revitalization is described as church re-planting. This kind of ministry requires me to be both a planter of new life and a pastor to the existing church family.
