Welcome to Stowford

We are a family run farm situated in the Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests including a campsite, a cafe, arable crops, livestock, swimming club, schools, artists studios and workshops.

The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.  The campsite gets very busy in the summer and it is advisable to book well in advance.  This can be done via our online booking system.

The farm has an education centre on site that houses a farm school and offers farm visits for school groups.  The farm school provides one or two days for home school students or those who would benefit from time out of school each week.

The campsite is surrounded by the River Frome, which makes it a wonderfully peaceful holiday spot.

If Cath Kidston did holidays (and its only a matter of time) they would be in the model of Stowford Manor Farm- except that everything here is authentically country kitsch

There are campsites whose appeal is hard to define; one so simple that it can only be described as one that insils a sense of wellbeing in the folks that camp there.
